Dedicated to raising a generation of mindful children

Our story began with one simple idea: make meditation accessible to children

JC Das, a former monk and music producer, wanted to help kids cope with anxiety so he partnered with Anchal Leela Chand, a mother and behavioral therapist, to help bring Good Luck Yogi’s vision to life.

During COVID-19, meditation and wellness became a necessity in millions of homes. To distribute mindfulness content to kids, Good Luck Yogi created 100s of meditations, a children’s book, and a mobile app.

Since coming to life, Good Luck Yogi has traveled around the U.S. teaching meditation to over 5,000 children, parents, and teachers at schools, hospitals, wellness events, parks, and private home sessions.

Meet the Founding Yogi:
JC Das

JC was instilled with the gift of creativity, but struggled with standardized schooling and social anxiety growing up. Having had trouble expressing himself, JC used music as an outlet; eventually becoming a hip hop producer and a music-based caregiver for children with autism.

While producing relaxing sounds to help kids find calmness, JC became fascinated with meditation, and led him to becoming a full-time brahmacari monk for 6 years throughout India and North America. In 2017, he became a Chaplain at the University of Southern California and developed mindfulness workshops for students.

After seeing the global rise of stress in young minds, JC developed a heroic figure who taught children how to fight from within. By uniting JC’s love for creativity and meditation, Good Luck Yogi is inspiring kids all around the world to meditate and express themselves.
